ANIM Faculty Win International Award
Congratulations to Afghanistan National Institute of Music (ANIM).
In Samarqand, Uzbekistan, the ANIM faculty of Afghan Traditional Instruments participated in the 8th International Music Festival Sharq Taranolari Competition. The ANIM faculty ensemble of traditional instruments has been acknowledged by the Special Prise of the Festival, the Public & Audience Award. ANIM participants of the 8th International Music Festival the Sharq Taranolari are: Abdul Latif (dohl and tula), Jawed Mahmood (tabla), Ustad Ehsan Irfan (tanbur and sitar), Ustad Ghulam Hussain (rubab), Mohammad Murad (ghichak), and Dr Ahmad Sarmast the Head of ANIM team.
